Hi, I’m Sally - founder of Jigsaw Holistic Therapy

I offer gentle, holistic support through life’s most meaningful moments — from helping children grow emotionally to guiding families through end-of-life transitions.
I specialise in working with children aged 4–12 and their families, offering counselling, play therapy and equine-assisted therapy in a calm, nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves.
I believe children communicate best through play, creativity and connection, and I meet each child where they are so they feel seen, understood and supported. Alongside this, I provide compassionate death doula support, offering emotional, spiritual and practical guidance during end-of-life.
I’m warm, down-to-earth, and committed to creating safe, supportive spaces for every stage of life.

End of Life
Life is made up of many stages — childhood, growth, transition, and eventually the end of life. My work is grounded in the belief that each of these moments deserves care, compassion and understanding.
Through Jigsaw Holistic Therapy, I support both the beginning and the end of life’s journey - helping children grow with confidence and emotional resilience, while also helping individuals and families navigate the end of life with dignity and peace.
Holistic Services for Different Stages of Life
At Jigsaw Holistic Therapy, I offer a range of gentle, supportive services designed to meet people wherever they are in their life journey.

Play Therapy & Child Counselling
Play is a child’s natural language. Through play-based therapy and counselling, I help children express emotions, process experiences and build confidence in a way that feels safe and natural. This approach can support children experiencing anxiety, big emotions, behavioural challenges or life transitions.

Living Beyond Grief
My journey after my dad’s death
They say timing is everything, and my dad clearly missed the memo—leaving this world just after Easter 2025, setting off a year that felt more dramatic than a soap opera. With my family living on the other side of the world and due to my work commitments and lack of money to leave the country for a period of time, I found myself grieving from afar, armed with confusion, frustration, and some scenes so unbelievable I’m convinced it was being used for a you have been framed series. Still, somewhere in the chaos, I stumbled onto tiny nuggets of spiritual wisdom, growth, and the kind of healing that sneaks up on you when you least expect it—usually at 3:00 AM when I was sure I saw dads spirit looking at me from our kitchen. Looking back, the lack of communication, teary phone calls and complete sometimes feeing that I was on another planet, never mind the other side of the world, I believe I gained a peculiar sort of superpower, which was unknown for me. I learned to stand in my truth, be my authentic self - embrace every feeling (yes, even the ones that showed up fashionably late), and after feeling every feeling one can feel about a dead father who I found out had told me a number of whopping porkies, I now am beginning to keep my dad’s memory alive with stories and laughter. If you’ve ever felt like you’re starring in your own episode of “Grief: The Sitcom,” trust me, you’re not alone. My hope is that sharing this zigzag journey not only makes you chuckle, but also reminds us all to plan, cherish our loved ones, be honest and, most importantly, lead with kindness—because everyone’s grief story is unique, and sometimes a little humour is exactly what we need to light the way.
